Screen Uniformity Test
Test how evenly your display lights up using solid color and gray fields. Dark grays and black expose backlight bleed and IPS glow, mid-gray shows the dirty-screen effect, and full colors reveal tint shifts from one corner to another. It's best run in a dark room, where faint problems become obvious.
What you can use it for

Frequently asked questions
Which fields show uniformity problems best?+
Black and dark gray reveal backlight bleed and clouding, mid-gray shows the dirty-screen effect, and full-screen colors expose tint shifts.
Should I dim the lights?+
Yes. Backlight bleed and clouding are far easier to judge in a dark room with the screen at a moderate brightness.
